Heeeey! Lol (I literally laughed before I began to write the next sentence) did you see DJ Khaled’s proposal to Nicki Minaj on MTV? I mean it is a bit extra to propose to someone via one of the biggest entertainment news channels! DJ Khaled presented a, reportedly, half a million dollar ring during the proposal. From a female’s perspective, I would find that proposal quite weird and unusual. However, like I suspected (like the smart PR girl I am), it WAS a publicity stunt.  OF COURSE! Nicki Minaj said it herself.

In a phone call with Hot 97 Radio Station Nicki Minaj says ‘DJ Khaled is my brother…He wasn’t serious’. I heard it with my own ears and she sounded very sincere, and it isn’t surprising because DJ Khaled needs as much buzz around him as possible as his album ‘Suffering from Success’ is going to be released exactly 7 days after Drake’s. BUT It doesn’t end there… after his fake proposal he releases a new single called ‘I Wanna Be With You’ which features Future, Rick Ross and notably Nicki Minaj.
